Personal Info You Probably Didn't Want To Know

If you don't want to ready about my journey trying to get pragnant.. then you probably shouldn't read any further... there is some REALLY personal info about me that you probably didn't want to know but this is my blog and I am sharing it anyways. :P

Saturday Jeff and I called the dr because I still haven't ovulated (O'd) yet and she told us to go ahead and schedule an appointment for an u/s (ultrasound) to see if I have O'd or not. We went in on Sunday. Well the good news is that I haden't O'd yet so we can still proceed with the IUI, and I guess the better news is.. i have really mature follicles. Although I am not sure if they are on track or not. She said that they were rather BIG so she wasn't sure if they were follicles, she thought that they might be cysts, but the dr confirmed that they were, indeed follicles and that we could proceede with the IUI. Sorry for my spelling. The normal width of a mature follicle for being on CD 16, which is what I was on Sunday... is 18mm well mine were averaging 33mm!!!!!! YES.. I SAID 33mm!!!!! The nurse said that they were quite large and maybe that is why I haven't O'd yet because I needed that extra boost of HCG, my body is having a hard enough time as it is. So I got my HCG shot, on Sunday (in the rear I must add) and we went back in on Monday at 1:00pm for our IUI. Well Jeff went in at 1:00pm then I went in at 3:00pm. So wish us luck that all goes well and this is all the help we need.

The IUI went great. I had 6 mature follicles all ranging from 27mm and 33 mm and they injected 5 million of Jeff's sperm. Then I had to lay there for 25 minutes, before they would let me get up to leave. It wasn't that bad though. But they did MAKE sure to tell me that since I had 6 LARGE mature follicles and they did give me a shot of HCG, there is a higher risk of multiples, which I am totally fine with. Oh and she also came back in to mention to me that I do have a yeast infection, so I need to get that taken care of. I haven't had any itching or burning, just some weird cervical mucus and I only noticed it when I was in the dr's office pee'ing before my appointment, so I baught some yogurt and will take care of that tomorrow.

Jeff is already acting like I am pregnant, LOL! He doesn't want me doing anything!!!! He keeps telling me, "let me do that... you just go rest, you've got babies to make." It's too funny!

6 - I will say a prayer that this all works out for you. I remember being so upset because I knew that of all the things in the world that I could do, I was made to make a baby and when that didn't happen the way it should have I was devastated.
God Bless you, your family and any little peanuts you have going in there. (Comment this)
